Many architects and artists of the Amsterdam School were socially involved and strove for a conscious, progressive lifestyle. In that spirit – and with an eye for sustainability, the environment and animal welfare – Museum Het Schip offers a vegetarian menu.

The museum café is open for museum visitors and guests without an entrance ticket from Tuesday till Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00. Other times by appointment.
There are often exhibitions by (local) artists in the museum café.
