new addition is the exhibition and reception room of Museum Het Schip, which can accommodate more than 50 persons. It is located opposite the Museum, at Oostzaanstraat 28, and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00 to 17.30 hrs. and of course by appointment. It is an excellent place for a group to meet, for instance, as part of an outing: a visit to the museum with a guided tour and a snack or a drink. addition to the rolls, pastry and drinks on sale there, it is also possible to book a lunch. The € 17 lunch for groups of 8 persons or more is very popular. Lunches of € 7.50 are also possible for groups of students who make reservations beforehand. Other options are coffee with confectioner's pastry for € 5.50 for groups (including the visitor's discount). If you will be visiting the museum with a group it is advisable to make reservations. The room can also be used for meetings and lectures.

The setting is amazing, with a 60-metre photo exhibition showing the great diversity of the Amsterdam School. The photographs were made by Floris Leeuwenberg, the winner of a Zilveren Camera award.
