Busexcursion The Amsterdam School

Guided tours with a bus to the buildings of the Amsterdam School in entire Amsterdam.

Every month are excursions planned to the buildings of the Amsterdam School. You visit the public housing  in De Baarsjes and Amsterdam South. You also visit the complex De Dageraad, designed by Piet Kramer and Michel de Klerk. It is an excellent example of the AmsterdamSchool movement in the South of Amsterdam. It attests to the idealism of the then city council and of Public Housing Association De Dageraad (now 'De Alliantie'). An other architectural masterpiece is Het Scheepvaarthuis, the first example of the Amsterdam School, built by the architects J.M. Van der Mey, Piet Kramer and Michel de Klerk.
